ACEarts invites proposals from professional artists/groups, we seek to inspire our audience, promote the highest standard of local and national artists work and create opportunities for everyone to learn through art.
Our Exhibition gallery situated on the first floor of the historic Old Town Hall overlooking the market square, is a fantastic showcase facility, providing opportunity for eight exhibitions per year.
We receive many more proposals than we are able to accommodate. As a result we are unable to offer exhibition opportunities to all who apply and selection should be seen as a competitive process.
Our objective in the selection process is to produce a balanced and high quality programme of exhibitions. We do not employ set criteria but do take into account a number of factors including:
- Quality and execution
- Clarity of ideas
- Value the work adds to our programme
- Ability to help us achieve our aims and objectives
Please supply:
- A clear and concise proposal
- 8 images of recent work
- Artist statement(s)/CV
